There are two game situations in particular where the environment can give you the upper hand. The first of these is when you see a red zone, which indicates that the marked tiles will disappear on the next turn. If you can anticipate this happening, drawing enemies into this area and getting yourself out will thin out enemy numbers. Additionally, any enemies standing on the edge, including tanks, can be dispatched in one movement by using an ability that pushes them a space.
Any enemies that disappear into a red zone won’t count as a KO, so don’t do this if you’re trying to rack up a combo.

1Watch The Turn Counter
It Can Be An Advantage or Limitation
In addition to the ever-changing structure of the board, players will also notice that levels progress according to the number of turns remaining in the stage. This counter won’t always be visible, particularly when there are still additional areas to uncover first, but it will let you know how much time you’ve got left to complete the level.
Depending on whether you’re trying to amass combos or simply survivea crowd of Foot Clan soldiers, the turn counter can work to your advantage or disadvantage. If you’re trying to KO as many enemies as possible, then this will give you an idea of how aggressive you need to be. If you’re just trying to make it to the end, then this will tell you how long you need to dodge, duck, and weave their attacks for.
