Roblox’sGrow a Garden has a number of different weather events that can randomly impact the growth of your crops at any time. While some can occur regularly, others are tied to events, and some can only be triggered by an admin of the experience. In this guide, I’ll provide an overview of all weather events inGrow a Gardenand what they do, so you know what to expect when one triggers on theRobloxserver that you’re playing on.

Weather events typically result in somesort of mutationbeing placed on crops you were growing at the time, which typically means that they’ll sell for more at the Sell Stand.

Frost

Frost causes snow to fall across the server. It’s an uncommon weather event and increases Grow Speed of crops by 50%. If a crop already has the Wet mutation, Frost can also cause the Frozen mutation.

Occurs at least once or twice a day, but is less common than Rain.

Thunderstorms

Thunderstorms cause the sky to turn gray, and lightning can strike crops on your server. This is a rare weather event, but it increases Grow Speed of crops by 50% and has a 50% chance of applying the Wet mutation. If lightning strikes a crop, it will get the Shocked mutation.

A rare occurrence in Grow a Garden, but there doesn’t appear to be a set schedule for it to happen. It can occur a few times in one day, or not at all.

Meteor Shower

Causes meteors to fall from the sky. Any crops hit by meteors get the Celestial mutation. The Star Caller item can be used to attract meteors to crops. Meteor Showers last between five and 10 minutes.

Celestial(120x Sale Value)

Can only happen at nightfall, which happens every hour. There doesn’t appear to be any other requirements or regularity in which they occur, making Meteor Showers quite rare.

Night

The sun goes down, and nighttime occurs. Crops have a chance of getting the Moonlit mutation. Players can increase the chance of this happening by placing a Night Staff in their garden.

Moonlit (2x Sale Value)

Occurs every four hours at the ‘half past’ the hour mark. It lasts for 10 minutes.

Blood Moon

The sky and moon turn red, and crops have a chance of receiving the Bloodlit mutation.

Bloodlit (4x Sale Value)

Can only occur at nighttime and lasts 15 minutes once it begins. It has a 33.33% chance of replacing the Night cycle.

Bee Swarm

A swarm of bees visits gardens and pollinates different plants and crops in players' gardens. This lasts for 10 minutes.

Pollinated(3x Sale Value)

Occurred during the Bizzy Bees limited-time event. Admins can also trigger this weather event once the event is over.

Working Bee Swarm

Similar to the Bee Swarm event but the bees are wearing little construction site safety hats. Not only do crops still have a chance of getting the Pollinated mutation, but there’s a higher chance of getting the mutation, and the event increases crafting speed by 10%.

Pollinated (3x Sale Value)

Sun God

A floating Jandel appears in the sky behind the cosmetic shop. This event has a rare chance of applying the highly valuable Dawnbound mutation to crops.

Dawnbound(150x Sale Value)

An admin-only experience. Players need to be around when Jandel starts the Sungod event in GaG.

Jandel Storm

A giant Jandel appears on the island, and Beethoven’s Ode to Joy begins playing. Lightning will strike four times a second, granting a high chance of crops being given the Shocked mutation. The event only lasts one minute and is incredibly rare.

Only an experience admin can trigger this weather event.

Disco

The sky turns a rainbow color, and players are forced to dance for the duration of the event. It lasts about one to two minutes, and crops on the server of getting the Disco mutation.

Sheckle Rain

Golden coins fall from the sky for one to three minutes, which players can collect. The sky turns a yellow/ gold color for the duration of the event.

Chocolate Rain

Brown rain falls from the sky and will give crops a brown coating if they’re given the Chocolate mutation.

Lazer Storm

A giant Jandel appears and shoots lasers out of its eyes across the island. Has a chance of applying the Plasma mutation to any crops on the server.

Monster Mash

This only happened once, but saw DJ Jhai appear behind the Pet Eggs and Gear Shop. Players were forced to use the Monster Mash emote, and random effects were triggered.

Black Hole

The sky turns blue, and a Black Hole appears. It pulls everything towards it, so players can jump and get dragged high into the air. Has a random chance of giving the Voidtouched mutation.

Luck

This is tied to thePlaytime Luckboard that players have seen on their servers. Nothing changes during this weather event, and no mutations are given, but players' luck can be increased from anywhere between 10% and 100% for five minutes.

Volcano

A giant volcano spawned in the server and erupted, causing chunks of molten lava to land in players' gardens. If lava blocks landed in a player’s garden, their crops had a chance of receiving the Molten mutation.

Floating Jandel

A floating Jandel would appear above the gear and egg shops at the end of the island.

Heavenly (5x Sale Value)

A lot of the weather events above can only be triggered by an admin, such as Jandel. Others are limited-time events that may never return to the game once their respective event has ended. However, admins can make these return whenever they want if they choose to trigger the event. There is no timetable or set regularity in which admin events occur. These are done at random when the admins want to treat players in the game. As such, you just have to be lucky and hope you’re playing the game when one happens to witness it first-hand.

When a weather event occurs or is triggered by an admin, it is triggered across all servers at the same time. As such, there’s no chance that players can miss out on a weather event by not being on the ‘right’ server.
