After getting to grips with their new life on Arrakis,Dune: Awakeningplayers will need to complete the eight Trials of Aql as part of the Find the Fremen questline. Thesespice-fuelled adventureswill put everything that they’ve learned so far to the test, with a nice mixture of stealth, combat, and platforming sections involved.
For those who were paying close attention during the tutorial sections at the beginning ofDune: Awakening, completing the Trials of Aql shouldn’t prove to be too challenging. In fact, it could be argued that finding all of the Trial of Aql locations is the hardest part, which is why we’ve put together a map showing the starting positions of each one.
The First Trial of Aql Location (Mihna Cavern)
Hagga Basin South
The first Trial of Aql can be found in Mihna Cavern, which is inHagga Basin South.
The Second Trial of Aql Location (The Deep Struggle)
Eastern Vermillius Gap
Players will find the second Trial of Aql to the east of the Wreck of the Actaeon in Eastern Vermillius Gap.
The Third Trial of Aql Location (Cave of the Lost Pilgrim)
Western Vermillius Gap
The third Trial of Aql takes place in the Cave of the Lost Pilgrim, which is in Western Vermillius Gap.
The Fourth Trial of Aql Location (The Hollow Hammer)
To reach the location of the fourth Trial of Aql, players will need to head to the large hammer-shaped rock formation near the western border of Eastern Vermillius Gap and then climb the exterior walls.
The Fifth Trial of Aql Location (The Hidden Test)
Hagga Rift
The fifth Trial of Aql takes place in the Hidden Test Cave, which is in the Hagga Rift on the eastern border of the Hagga Basin.
The Sixth Trial of Aql Location (Devil’s Eye Cavern)
Jabal Eifrit Al-Sharq
Players will find the sixth Trial of Aql in the Devil’s Eye Cavern, which is located in the Jabal Eifrit Al-Sharq region in the northeastern part of the Hagga Basin.
The Seventh Trial of Aql Location (The Red Maw)
The seventh Trial of Aql takes place in the Red Maw, which players will find in the Hagga Rift area in the northern part of the Hagga Basin.
The Eighth Trial of Aql Location (Sietch Ta’lab)
Eastern Shield Wall
Players will find the eighth Trial of Aql in the Sietch Ta’lab, which lies near the border of the Eastern Shield Wall and Mysa Tarill.
