Unless a zone inWorld of Warcraftis part of the current story, it is rare to see any updates in terms of what is happening there. Many parts of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms are still stuck in the early aftermathof theCataclysm, even though it has been years since then, both in the game and in real life.
While it isn’t part of the main story, Blizzard has added a campaign that allows players to see what is going on in another part of Azeroth, the Arathi Highlands. There is growing tension between the Humans and Orcs that live in that region, and in Rise of the Red Dawn, you will investigate the source of the unrest and uncover a new threat.
Before starting Rise of the Red Dawn, you may want to considerlistening to the audio novellaknown as “Heartlands”. This novella takes place between the events ofThe War Withinleveling campaign and Rise of the Red Dawn.

The Rise of the Red Dawn campaign consists of twenty-eight quests and is only one chapter long. Below is every single quest, the objective, and other important information to remember as you progress through this campaign. You will needto be Level 80to start Rise of the Red Dawn.

Trouble in the Highlands
Use the portal to get to Arathi Highlands and then speak to Faerin to trigger a cutscene.
Torches and Tar
Retrieve 10 Barrels of Tar and 10 Stolen Torches.
Find Marshall Wiltshire, Sharon Wiltshire, and Ellie.
Emblematic of Things to Come
Bring the Unfamiliar Emblem to Danath Trollbane.
This quest is started by looting the Unfamiliar Emblem from a Defias Lookout.
Follow Colonel Nials and then listen to the conversation.

Finding Refuge At Refuge Pointe
Meet Faerin at Refuge Pointe and then collect the emblem from the unknown soldier. From there, follow Faerin and talk to Karga.
Speak to Faerin outside of Hammerfall
Crime Family
Save Perry, Holt, and Crestor from the Witherbark trolls.
You don’t have to interrogate Perry, Holt, or Crestor. Simply freeing them will progress the quest.
Kill enemies and rescue civilians to liberate Hammerfall
The Burning of Hammerfall
Save the East Spirit Lodge, West Spirit Lodge, the Stables, the Blacksmith, and the Great Hall from being burned down.
Meet Eitrigg at Ar’gorok
The Search for Danath
Search the Altar of Storms, Workshop, Great Hall, Armory, and then the Barracks.
The Barracks objective only unlocks once you’ve searched the other four buildings. Check the first floor for the key on the table before going downstairs.
Kill Joseph the Enlightened and then find Danath and Eitrigg.
