FortniteBlitz Royale is here—an intense, fast-paced version of Battle Royale where matches last just five minutes, the storm closes in quickly, and the action never stops. This mode stands apart from both Reload and standard Battle Royale, offering players the chance to level up their Blitz Level,earn Medallions and Mythics, and unlock powerful Boons.Here’s how to get Boons inFortniteBlitz Royale.
How to Get Boons in Fortnite Blitz Royale
Boons inFortniteBlitz Royale function in the exact same way as those in regular Battle Royale,each one offering buffs to the playerand taking up their own unique slot within the player’s inventory. However, the key difference inFortniteBlitz Royale is how to get them.
To get Boons inFortniteBlitz Royale, players will need to gain eliminations and survive the storm toincrease their Blitz Level.Upon increasing their Blitz Levels, players will begiven access to a random Boonandother upgrades like Mythic and Exotic Weapons, thus making them much more equipped for Victory. The player’s current Blitz Level will be displayed just below their minimap.
Boons are also a guaranteed drop by searching Golden Chests, which will spawn in random locations. These Golden Chests are distinctively different from regular Chests, so players must keep their eyes peeled for one.
All Boons in Fortnite Blitz Royale (& How They Work)
There are currentlya total of 10 unique Boonsthat players can collect inFortniteBlitz Royale. Eagle-eyed players may recognize many of these Boons, as some were featured in past seasons, whileothers carry over fromFortniteChapter 6 Season 3 Battle Royale. However, a few function slightly differently compared to their Battle Royale counterparts. Here’s a breakdown of every Boon players can find inFortniteBlitz Royale:
Reload your weapons faster
Knocking players reveals others nearby
Parkour partially reloads equipped weapon
Gain Slap Effect when you mantle, hurdle, or wall jump
Move faster when your pickaxe is equipped
Replenish shield when in the storm
Sprint while using healing items and gain Slap after using
Players who attack you are marked
Eliminated enemies are briefly marked on the map
