Quick Links
There are multiple character class skill trees for players to use inDune: Awakening, and while you can pick a class during character creation, you can also enjoy the skills provided by others after you find a trainer somewhere in the world. There are no restrictions to multiclassing (apart from skill points), so if you want a hybrid class, you can definitely do so.
If you want to mix and matchdifferent class skills together, you’ll have to find the trainers for each class first and maybe do a few favors for them too. Here’s a complete guide on all trainer locations, both basic and advanced, inDune: Awakening.
Trooper Trainer Location in Dune: Awakening
The basic Trooper trainercan be found in Griffin’s Reach. Look for an NPC named Ghavouri (he’ll also appear on your map), and agree to do a quick job for him. He’ll ask you to eliminate three targets in Hagga Basin South — they’ll all be marked on your map. Once you take them all out, go back to Ghavouri to unlock basic Trooper skills.
Advanced Trooper Trainer Location
To unlock Advanced Trooper skills inDune: Awakening, go to Arrakeen via Ornithopter (yours or the fast travel NPC in trade posts), then look forKara Valk, an NPC on the second floor of the marketplace. She’ll give you another quest, and once you finish that, you’ll be able to spend points on Advanced Trooper skills.
Planetologist Trainer Location in Dune: Awakening
To unlock the Planetologist tree, you need to speak with Derek Chinara, who you can find in camp on the cliffs just north of Griffin’s Reach. He’ll ask you to get some items from the nearby Imperial Testing Station, and once you fetch him those items, he’ll teach you how to be a basic Planetologist.
Advanced Planetologist Trainer
As far as Advanced Planetologist skills go,you’ll still learn them from Derek Chinara. However, you need to continue his questline by finding him again inImperial Testing Station 197in Western Vermillius Gap. This will kick off a chain of quests that will have you travel throughout Hagga Basin, including the high-level northern reaches of the map.
