28 Years Later Dark Web Site Teases the Truth of the Rage Virus

A new “dark web” site calledRageLeaks.nethas mysteriously sprung up online before28 Years Later’s release, which includes a slew of strange and cryptic posts from an apparent whistleblower who offers readers an insight into the Rage virus that has plagued the UK for years. The site itself is showcased in a very basic fashion, with 90s-style text, low-quality surveillance footage, strange and muffled audio logs, new infected variants, hinting at a mutation of the rage virus, and mysterious files that include messages like “what are they still hiding?” and screenshots of text messages from one person to another who has inside knowledge.

Under a file named ‘narrows’, a map of theUK and Ireland is displayed with a big circle around both islands, which says, “If you’re reading this, you know this map. We’ve all seen it for so long, we practically don’t even notice it anymore. But today I found myself looking at the Dover Narrows. There’s only 20 miles of water separating Dover and Calais. That’s all. They’re probably the most vigilantly guarded miles in the world,” it continues. “The second wave reached Europe, and we pushed it back. The Atlantic Wall has held ever since. We tell ourselves it always will. But how can we know for sure if they won’t tell us what’s really happening?”.

Of course, to get into the very ‘cloak and dagger’ website,28 Years Laterfans need access to the password, which happens to be the word “mementomori”, which is Latin for “remember you must die.”The phrase is often used as a reminder to “live with purpose and to appreciate the present moment,” and is found in artwork throughout history. The phrase can also appear in an image of an hourglass with skulls to “represent the passage of time and the inevitability of death”, which can be seen clearly in28 Years Later’s movie posterof the huge mountain of bones and skulls.

28 Years Laterwill be released in theaters on June 07, 2025.
